“ This is a great place for breakfast. Clean, bright. Corn beef hash is homemade. Coffee is good. This type of restaurant, diner, Coney Island are common in Detroit area. If you're in the area this one is worth the visit. ”
“ I have to admit that I love love love having breakfast at a good decent diner. I've been getting lunch take out from Noni's. Well I finally decided to dine-in for breakfast with S. We both ordered omelets, the Noni's for her and Farmer for me. They were the size of newborn babies. And just as adorable. Delicious. We both had to quit mid-way and get to-go boxes for the leftovers. I will definitely have to do this again. As for the ambiance, this is a great neighborhood-y place to meet up with family or your neighbors. ”
“ Let begin by saying overall I enjoyed they food and the service. I have been wanting to try this place for several years because it is in my neighborhood. I just never stopped in. Today was the day. I was out and about with my 6 year old daughter and my mother-in-love. We went in around 11am for breakfast. The parking lot was small but we had no problem getting in and grabbing a space. When we entered it was not clear what we were supposed to do so we asked the young lady behind us if she knew if we had to wait to be seated. She walked around us and advised that we seat ourselves. There were plenty of tables available but only one booth in the corner. As my party of 3 headed to the booth the young woman's little girl slid into the booth. As I turn to scope out tables my 5 ft nothing monster-in-law says in her 7 ft tall voice "so you are just going to let her get in front of us and steal our table?" Before I could completely sink into how mortified I was,the young lady told her 4 year old looking daughter "come on baby" then says we could have the booth. The little girl says in voice that only comes from a heart broken child "but I really want to sit there." I had already told Mother Maxwell that it was not an issue. She disregards me and proceeds to occupy the booth with my kid. I felt so ashamed. Who forces a baby to give up their coveted seat? God stepped in at that moment. I heard someone call my name. I looked over and in the very next booth was my coworker. She was by herself. I quicky shouted my family is sitting with you. I told the little girl and her mom to take the booth we would be sitting with my friend. Everyone was happy. Although I could not believe my husband's mother the food was really good and affordable. I ordered an omelette with spinach, mushrooms, bacon and swiss. It had way to much spinach. It was still good. My mother in love order liver and opinions (ewww). She said it was really good. You will have to take her word for it. My daughter had a Mickey Mouse pancake with bacon. She said it was amazing. She 6 why would she lie? The coffee was wonderful and came straight from the coffee heavens above. I have no idea what it was because I forgot to get the name. The waitress said, as she was pouring it, that they grind the beans every morning. The staff was very polite and attentive. I truly enjoyed this place and will be returning regularly. ”
“ When you travel out of town try something different. This is a nice small town restaurantI that has a good menu with a great staff. Our waitress checked on us often answered any questions that we had. For breakfast I ordered the Italian sausage. It came with 2 large pieces of sausage, eggs, hash browns and toast. There is no reason to leave here hungry with all the choices available for you. Restaurant has booths and table seating with a separate area for take out only. Prices are reasonable, service was great, food was delicious. It would be nice if other chain restaurants take a page from these small town establishments. ”
